Lamella Clarifier
SD Enviro has a excellent Infrastructure to Design, Engineer, Manufacture, Erection and Commissioning the wide range of Lamella Clarifier Systems to meet various requirements.The lamella clarifier (also lamella separator) separates settleable solids (particles) from liquids and is used for instance in the treatment of process water and waste water.
SD Enviro Lamella Clarifier is a compact, inclined platform clearer, with higher suspended and colloidal particles, used for water clarification and waste water clarification.
The principle is based on colloidal particle settlement by supplying a number of slanted plates that establish a distinct sedimentation chamber between neighbouring plates.
The flocculated water flows up into the Lamella near the bottom of the plates. The solids are placed onto the surface of the plates when the water travels upwards. Solids still fall down to the hopper on the plate surfaces.
The Lamella Clarifier provides a means of water clarification at a large saving of surface area. (Up to 90 %)

Options to Enhance Efficiency
While many installations provide adequate solids removal without influent pre-treatment, optional mixers and flocculator tanks are available to enhance efficiency when required. Some solids must be flocculated to achieve adequate mass to be effectively removed.
SD Enviro Engineers Parallel Plate Vertical Clarifiers are manufactured in two different plate inclinations; the 45° clarifiers are designed for removal of heavy solids while the 55° clarifiers are designed for light solid removal applications.
