filters1Water and wastewater treatment industry requires fabrication of equipment. An equipment’s design and fabrication is very important to get achieve the results. Standardized systems are fabricated to use readily in the treatment plants.

Range of equipment available with SD Enviro Engineers are designed and fabricated with good engineering practises. Standard water treatment equipment are designed based on frequently used sizes.

Clarifier mechanisms – Centre and peripherally driven clarifiers.

Tube settlers – Equipped with flash mixer, flocculator, dosing pumps and control panel. Capacities up to 25 m3/hr.

Filter & ion exchange vessels – Standard sizes up to 900 diameter with top and bottom strainer plates. Protective coating with rubber lining with frontal piping and valves. Sizes above 900 dia. are designed with lateral distribution. Frontal piping and valves optional.

MBBR tanks – MBBR tanks are ready to install sewage treatment units with aeration tank and tube settler. Capacities up to 100 KLD.

Micron filter housings – Stainless steel filter housings to fit with 2.5″ standard filters of sizes 20″,30″ and 40″.

Storage tanks – MS and SS storage tanks to store treated water. Horizontal and vertical models up to capacity 10,000 Lt.

Storage and process vessels – wide variety of storage and process vessels for the food processing, food manufacturing, beverage and dairy industries. Jacketed tanks for heating and cooling.

CIP systems – An efficient and effective CIP system is a key indicator of the hygiene of the plant, ultimately helping dairies to improve product quality. CIP systems are designed as per the process needs and type of equipment to be cleaned.

Heat exchangers – in a wide range of models and combinations to meet requirements for heating, cooling and pasteurizing liquid products.

Jacketed reactors – Jacketed reactor has a jacket surrounding the main vessel. During reaction, temperature of reactants is controlled by circulating heating or cooling media through the jacket. Ideally suitable for the heating below 150 C. Commonly used heat transfer media include water, steam, hot oil such as Therminol, and Dowtherm A.

Limpet coil reactor – Limpet coil reactor vessels are used to control the temperature of the reactants with the help of heating or cooling media circulated through coils surrounding the main vessel. Ideally suitable for medium heat transfer requirement and heating application where heating media temperature is above 150 C. Coils are half piped welded on the outer side of the main vessel.

Heat exchangers – Heat Exchangers are designed and manufactured to facilitate indirect heat transfer between the two fluids. The two fluids can be liquid and liquid or vapor and liquid. The shell-and-tube heat exchanger has two main areas – Tube side and Shell side. Shell and tube heat exchangers are used as condensers, reboilers, process heaters, coolers and falling film evaporator.

Leaf filters – The slurry is pumped under pressure into a vessel that is fitted with a stack of vertical leaves that serve as filter elements. Each leaf has a centrally located neck at its bottom which is inserted into a manifold that collects the filtrate. The leaf is constructed with ribs on both sides to allow free flow of filtrate towards the neck and is covered with coarse mesh screens that support the finer woven metal screens or filter cloth that retain the cake.
